The voices in my head come out my fingers.

Mythical, not legendary.

Unreliable narrator.

Fictionalized version of myself.

So, … why Only Dave Smith?
Imagine a crowded family kitchen, the air sizzling in expectation. The doorbell rings and everyone hushes.
A volunteer jumps to answer the door.
“It’s only Dave Smith,” comes the announcement, and the group relaxes.
Mediocre achievement in the context of low expectations.

The bridge issue is instructive.

Every winter Canada sends millions and millions of cubic metres of air to the US … free of charge.

Out of Fairness and Respect, that has to change.

And Himself can pay for half the bridge.

I just read this as a footnote in a book published in 1895. The chapter concerned the still-thriving slave trade and linked it to the trade in ivory.

"It is estimated that the elephant will become extinct in Africa
about one hundred and fifty or two hundred years hence."

So we've had warning.

Didn't we all start doing that last year? Meaning 12 months and more ago?

For reasons that go far beyong their association with the Orange One.

Yet another reason to drive defensively.

If there weren’t so much money in ripping off drivers and insurers over car repairs, these things might not happen.

Maybe we should legalize auto body shops.

Oooh, an official portrait!

I should have been asked as I have some ideas for an official Stephen Harper allegory.

An angry potato.

A field of mushrooms at night.

A brick.

A Fox News teleprompter.
