My bank locked me out last week.

I wondered about interest rates on new car loans, but I guess they don't publish loan rates nowadays. I accidentally started a loan application. I didn't want that, so I backed out, and they locked me out.

Did you, by chance, try to borrow money from MLB?

What worries me is that "winning strategy" is a construct that has meaning only in the context of fair and free elections. And with their gerrymanders and their voter suppression, these SOBs are working very hard to make sure we won't have those any more.

I greatly admire the way Janet Mills has defied trump's aggression.

But at 77 years old, she is older than Susan Collins (72), and older than Chuck Schumer (74).

I'd love to see a Democrat win Collins' seat, but I can't see how Mills' candidacy helps Dems out of their rut.

(And okay, I admit that about 25% of my motivation for replying was just that I wanted to say "insouciance." But it's still a fair question.)

The No Kings rallies have been peaceful. But when was there ever a protest with violence in Washington, DC? I'm racking my brain on that one....Oh yeah, when YOUR people showed up to overturn an election, beat up cops, and threatened Dem. and Repub. legislators. Trump pardoned all those thugs.

I am not saying that Ron Johnson is not shameless. I am quite sure he is.

But I think it is important to remember that Ron Johnson is also dumb as a box of rocks. Quite possibly one Tommy Tuberville away from being the stupidest person in the United States Senate.
