1/2 Apropos of nothing in particular, I guarantee I will never write a piece of fiction with the "help" of a large language model because a) I spent too many years developing skills to just fuck off now, b) I don't plagiarize other authors, whether intentionally or by way of statistical matches.

Meiselas: What do you make of his attack on you?

Warnock: As we say in Georgia, God bless his heart.

If he’s not sleeping in Cabinet meetings, he’s watching cable news and tweeting at his political adversaries. Man, you’re the leader of the free world. People actually need you to bring relief.

Apart from the fact the leader of the right mocked Reiner, one small difference is that Reiner's day job was making movies that people loved, while Kirk's starting point was creating enemies list of professors to be fired or harassed. These are not the same things.

Ahmed al Ahmed, the man who tackled one of the Bondi killers, became an Australian citizen 3 years ago.

His deed was "his way of conveying his gratitude for staying in Australia, for being granted citizenship."

He took 5 bullets, and fears he'll lose his left arm.

Reliable reports of ice in Ashland tonight. Restaurants, hotels.

I don’t know of anyone else in the CheqBay on bluesky but am sharing because I wrongly thought we might be too small, too far north. This is a town of 12k, 90 minutes from the nearest mall.

Rob Reiner, at worst, should have won the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. At best, he should have received an honorary Oscar.

It's possible he turned it down multiple times, but this should be rectified.

If you voted for Trump in 2024 and finally realize that he lied to get your vote and things aren't going well, it's okay to change your mind.

Write your representative in Congress and tell them how you want them to vote. Tell them how things are going. Tell them to hold Trump accountable.
