If you're too afraid to make something stupid, you can't make something cool, because they're the same thing to different people

It's nice when drawings look like someone drew them.

but if i'm not allowed to feed artists into my artist killing machine it's going to be basically impossible for the machine to keep killing artists. is that what you want?? and before you answer keep in mind this is a very expensive machine

Rouge and Shadow at the Roller Skating Rink! I love the idea of skates just being Shadow's thing, that he is able to skate using different types and that he would have to teach Rouge how to skate. I also find it cute if Rouge is an excellent spy but awful at something like skating.
Lineless art of Rouge the Bat in an 80's themed outfit with pink shorts, black tank top and pink roller rink skates. She has her ears tied together with a pink and yellow scrunchie similar to a pony tail. She is shown with a winking expression and a annoyed expression while wearing cat-eyed sunglasses. Lineless illustration of Rouge and Shadow together at the roller rink. Shadow skates backwards in black roller blades and black biker jacket with a skull of the back. He holds Rouge's hands while skating backwards and Rouge has a worried expression as she tries not to fall over. Lineless illustration of Shadow and Rouge skating at the roller rink. Shadow skates with one hand is jacket pocket. The other hand holds Rouge as he pulls her forward while she crouches down with a fearful expression.

Journal comics- escapism failed aka an excuse to draw ps1 graphics
Panel 1: character reclines on a bed while holding a switch 1 console saying, “ah time to sit and play one of my childhood faves! Let’s relax and forget our worries for a little bit~”

Panel 2: a ps1 Cloud sprite faces away with a large sword on his back saying, “corporations are destroying our planet, valuing profit over lives and morals. Every day is a struggle to hope and fight back.”

Panel 3: the character from panel 1 stares down at the screen with a tear falling down their cheek with a blank smile saying, “oh dear”

Yeah! I use clip studio mostly for these features, I'm not sure what has equivelants in other programs! These also might not technically be considered accessibility features but they are to me, they're what keep me able to draw with my disability.
little thread below on some csp features:

If I may ask, are there any particular accessibility features/tools you rly like for art?

I disabled my hands a few years ago and I've gotten a hang of tools for general computer usage but don't know much about accessibility tools for art specifically yet

This is also a really important tip for if you're passing files to a publisher or editor - they may want to move or change your bubbles, and you need to be able to accommodate those changes!

Oh also, can I say as advice to people starting their own solo comic/webcomic, make it easy for yourself:

Keep tidy layers, separate line art from bubbles, don't erase art, just use a white layer under lettering to block it out. If you ever need to edit the page in the future, it'll save you HOURS.

Got pretty far in Peter Pan vol 1 yesterday in sprucing it up for POD, though Chapter 2 is going to be the hump I have to get over (it's a MESS >_<) once that's over tho, it should be smooth sailing!

Here're some of the changes!

I'll color this at some point.

I drew this for Sonic's 30th, with @drawloverlala.bsky.social on layout duty. She's also colored the modern era page, which you should check out! She did an amazing job.

If folks want to color this themselves for fun, I'll happy share the full size file later.

Sneak peaks at some of my DCxSonic flats.

Because there's a lot of overlap in the scene with Shadow and Batman, I used some different shades of black so that it wouldn't just be one big selection. Hopefully this made it easier for Matt!

Some folks might not flat the water lines, but I did lol.
