Had to pull over twice today on 66… inbound stop was to let the 2yo out of her car seat so she could puke. Outbound stop was thanks to a car that alerted me that our Thule box was about to slide off the roof rack on account of getting buffeted by crosswinds

High temp today was 42.4°F at our cabin in the valley. Dog still resorting to pooping in the driveway because she’s tired of cutting up her paws on the ice.

My 2.5yo daughter’s bedroom is connected to mine. When she wakes up and I’m still in bed I get a cheerful “Good morning Daddy!” If my wife is also still in bed (very rare), daughter runs to her side “Mommy!” But if the dog is in between the bed we get “Has Sofi been fed yet? Can I go feed her?” ❤️
