Finished reading this last night. He explains Almost Famous, and who the inspiration was for the Sweetwater band storyline.

Made 3 dozen cookies. Cinnamon sugar cookies, aka, snickerdoodles. And a pumpkin pie. For today's Friendsgiving. The cookies will go fast, but the pie may go uneaten. We are all weird about food. Each one of us has a food quirk! I mean, to the point of ridiculousness.

Hey, how can I make her my official emotional support animal? Things are looking bleak. Last time I looked, it was atripped. No doubt it's doubled... or trippled.

I have to go to a Friday Friendsgiving and I want to take my dog for emotional support. And I hope my friends don't play the Munchkin board game this time. Bored me to death. Yes, too complicated.

What Thanksgiving Day represents in our home is a reminder that during the worst of times, be they shared or personal hardships, focusing on gratitude will carry us through to another day. That and we love an excuse to eat a meal comprised primarily of butter and cream.

eBay. It's all about shipping. Good packaging vs. Bad packaging & shipping costs. I got my first rave review on shipping when I double boxed the damn thing. Then a devastating one for a cancelled order because shipping cost ate all profit (except eBay's share). Yin Yang.

Americans should hide their heads in shame for having elected such an ignorant and soulless regime—the Trump presidency and his Republican Congress.

I made snickerdoodles for Friendsgiving. Not as good as my last batch, but husband says they are fine. I think I just need to add more sugar to the cinnamon sprinkle topping.

Machiavelli: It is better to be feared than loved, but you must absolutely avoid being *hated.*

So many forget that last part.
It is a bit alarming, when rereading Machiavelli's The Prince, that it lands as reportage rather than political theory. However, I find great comfort in the fact that they are really effing it up.
