Irish. Once told by a manager “I didn’t “play the game.” I know what the game is, I just don’t want to play it. Arsenal fan through the bad times.

This week I had someone tell me they're not worried about SNAP being cut off because "that's illegal, so it's impossible Trump could do that, so obviously it's just media sensationalism." Another person told me they weren't worried about ICE because "they can't detain you if you're legally here."

This right here should tell you all you need to know about the president of the red states of America being out of touch with regular everyday Americans.
Another observation, the rich need to be taxed more.

Unconscionable. Every single attendee at this Gatsby party should be embarrassed and ashamed, . . . celebrating one of the worst periods in American history while Trump tries to duplicate it by refusing to fund SNAP or extend the Obama healthcare subsidies.
perfect optics event to hold right as 40 million americans will increasingly struggle to get food with SNAP benefits expiring

I’m still shocked that stories like this which come out daily still get largely ignored. The most corrupt person to ever hold any public office in US history. I will keep posting them every day and try to amplify them, even when most media doesn’t care. www.wsj.com/finance/curr...

"Why are these terrible things happening? At a basic level they’re happening because Republicans want them to happen. Drastic cuts in food stamps and health care programs were central planks in Project 2025, which is indeed the Trump administration’s policy platform..."

The ignorance of Speaker Johnson is astounding. People like Johnson are perfect examples of why people are running from organized religion. It’s also astounding how little Some conservatives know about the real world around them.
Dear Mr Speaker,it’s YOUR party who will not negotiate to end this

If you're a National Trust member, it's that time of year again: Midnight tonight is the deadline. It's a shame people have to keep doing this to keep a toehold on historical truth in this country, but here we are. Voting link: www.nationaltrust.org.uk/who-we-are/a...

According to The Atlantic, at least 6 senior Trump political appointees have moved to DC-area military housing (previously reserved for senior military brass) to avoid protesters and for added security. These include Stephen Miller, Kristi Noem and Marco Rubio. Cowards, refusing to face the public.
“They think that they’re tough. They have no idea how tough we are. They think that they’re hardcore. We are so much more hardcore than they are.”

--Stephen Miller speaking to Memphis police earlier this month.

I’m placing my bets now. If Heather Humphries gets her arse handed to her by Catherine Connolly on Friday, Fine Gael will learn the wrong lessons and double down on the dirty campaigning and attempted culture war BS that they’ve been doing this whole run #SpeirGorm

In the last few days, the Times has had to delete two stories. One because someone pretended to be former Mayor Bill de Blasio to a reporter and one because they wrote up nonsense about Torsten Bell's expenses.

Needs a new editor badly.
