Whether you see it or not doesn’t matter. It happens. We’re going in circles. Have a good one.
We’ve seen plenty of pro athletes openly discuss their political leanings. A lot of them vote.
Outside of non-American citizens, you’re thinking this based on what exactly?
It lacks empathy.
So you’re a dumb dummy. Got it.
Ahhhh ok. Didn’t know that was a thing. Weird as hell. Thank you.
They have dumb dummies on this site too? Ugh.
Yeah, that has absolutely nothing to do with why it happened and certainly has nothing to do with the American citizens on the field who voted for Trump. Canada has nothing to do with it. Have a great night.
It’s a thing MLB does every year and the majority of players are American. They voted for the current president of their country who is actively destroying protective health, health insurance, and research in their country. I’m not sure what Canada has to do with my point.
I am amazed at how many people on Twitter don’t understand that 325 is more than 300 when discussing the Yankees failing to sign Yamamoto. The Dodgers made him the highest paid pitcher in baseball history. I would love LA too.
And why is there a concert in the middle of the game?
I’ll be that guy. It’s really hard to rationalize the stand up to cancer MLB campaign knowing a LOT of the people on that field voted for a guy who is actively dismantling cancer research and picked a meth head who hates vaccines as his health guy.
It took all of one day for “the peace in the Middle East” project to hit predictable, and probably planned, issues to arise. Shocking.

"a test"? you mean...a violation?
That won’t be peace. It will be colonization.
I am happy hostages on both sides are going home, but I have zero faith that war criminals whose whole identity is rooted in cruelty and destruction are going to be the brokers of peace all of a sudden.
The edges aren’t the problem.
They don’t ever meet the moment.
They don’t have urgency in the regular season and they don’t have it in the postseason. We can talk about analytics, matchups, etc. You still have to compete to maximize that. The Yankees just don’t do that in the playoffs. It’s a reflection of the manager and organization.
I’m at the point now where the Aaron Boone era Yankees repeatedly fail in the playoffs because of a distinct inability to consistently rise to the level of the stakes in the playoffs. They simply do not elevate their games in the postseason. They have zero killer instinct. Toronto did and they won.
