I love working #ConceptArt. Re-designing things or exploring completely new ideas from scratch. The iteration process of it. Trying to explore an idea while tying to make it workable withing the art direction & style constraints.

So this take by Rock is obviously "culture war" drivel.
But it does make me think, why is it so loved? Given I can't speak for others I wont pretend my reasons are your or majority reasons. But I will waffle a little.
Short version: I love dystopian settings.

"Only Chaos is bad" is such a weak ass take. Like the whole ass point of the Imperium is that power will do evil to maintain control because it's easier than making lives better even if doing so would actually eliminate the threat of their enemies.

Complains that an Alpha legion character isn't white "Like Alpharius "
Whines about how there would not be black Cadians.
Moans that 'dark skinned' space wolves, would not be black.
- It's not lore defence. It's simply racism hiding behind bad cover.

Not only does the legion not all look like a bald white guy, but it also stands to reason that given their appearance altering tech, Alpharius would alter themselves to look like someone else when infiltrating.

Previous book Harrowmaster specifically pointed out that its a subset of the legion that does the look a like thing (and they kind of creep out the others)

A lot of folks know that undercoating in pink really helps the otherwise weak pigments for yellows and oranges, show up more solid. But does anyone know if there is an equivalent for weak greens?

Sometime last year I finished my entire backlog of #DungeonsAndDragons minis.
They were figures from the boardgames, Wizkids, Reaper and a few other lines. I managed to knock these out because the average quality of the minis was low enough, it was silly to paint them as if they were comp winners.

I have been reluctant to issue copyright strikes for my work in youtube vids because youtube requires a physical address that would be given out if the situation escalates 💀.
The info I could find on DMCA says its optional - a way of contacting you is whats required. But youtube demands it.

I got best warband and came 3rd in the overall league.

I joined in on day 1 and loved it.
Being (even then) an older gamer, I joined the TOG guild.
War had a unique feature to limit griefing. If you were too high level for a zone, and tried to kill a low level player. You turned into a chicken...

I keep having massive nostalgia for Warhammer online.
Damn I had fun with that game.
I know there is a 'pirate' server still active. But so much is missing & in Aus it's laggy.
I've made peace with it, but this is the issue with online games. You can never go back.
