I agree with that point actually. Canadian spelling is a mixture of American, British and our own, but 'ise' endings aren't something we commonly use here. We use the American 'ize' but the British-like 'our' endings, for example. Good for us.

BC Liquor does this too - hire minors to go into liquor stores and pubs to catch servers selling to customers they shouldn’t. It’s entrapment and Ontario is now doing this in its cannabis stores. There’s that and other cannabis news for people with short attention spans.

I agree with the critics in this case. Build new theatre on the site of the old one, which we've been told could be done. We don't need the current community theatre if we build a new one. Yes, it'll mean no theatre for a time, but there are workarounds for events that normally would go in there.
