Sylvain Sylvain’s memoir No Bones In Ice Cream is a real delight. Or at least the first third is. It hasn’t reached the New York Dolls yet, so tragedy as well as triumph inevitably looms. But it is an interesting read. His descriptions of 60s New York are absolutely fascinating.
