When I read on a website ‘Our team are online now,’ it hardly inspires me with confidence.
Of course it should read ‘Our team IS online now.’
Sloppy grammar on websites irritates me in a way that’s entirely disproportionate.

Cuba is the subject of a US vendetta dating back to 1961, and the Bay of Pigs embarrassment IMHO.
The only reason Cuba is not a thriving (socialist) economy is US sanctions, and that’s a scandal.
The US is also accountable for the sad basket-case that is now Haiti.
