Do you know the difference between someone who supports a fascist government because they actually support fascism and someone who supports a fascist government because they feel they will somehow benefit from it personally?

Neither do I.

Oh man this is my kind of book. The fierce, erotic lament of it. And just wildly smart.

Q: How did the world get so ugly?

Zohran Mamdani's campaign in NYC has been the most hopeful political act I've seen in many years. Maybe since Jack Layton's campaign in 2011.
I cannot emphasize enough how much Zohran Mamdani's campaign was very much about a platform focused on accountability, but also about having fun, fostering genuine connections with its citizens, and reminding people why they moved to New York City and should still want to live there

Thrilled to see this review of Alexis Von Konigslow's brilliant exceptional THE EXCLUSION ZONE!

There is nothing worse for poetry than a poet who has no enthusiasm for the art form. No love. No humility. Just that snide, above-it-all derision for all the work they deem unworthy. It's so tired and dim and cynical and barren. It sucks the blood out of poetry like a tick.

Dick Cheney was a monster. He did not have one redeeming human quality. He is dead. He lived too long. One day someone will speak his name for the last time. May that day come soon.
