2) It makes it easier for someone to link a person's online account to their real world identity, which will facilitate stalking and blackmail.

3) It doesn't meaningfully accomplish the intended goal of age restricting content, which is mostly pointless anyway.

🪪 My concerns about the Online Safety Act remain the same as when I last wrote about it nearly decade a decade ago when it was proposed as the Digital Economy Bill:

1) It normalizes uploading sensitive documents such as ID scans to random websites, which will likely increase identity theft.
