It's difficult to overstate the influence Recettear's surprise hit of a digital English release was in terms of getting the Japanese games industry to turn their heads towards PC as a viable release platform.

We all owe a lot to Andrew and his work and I'm so sad to hear this.

Absolutely devastated by this news. SpaceDrake was no doubt a huge influence in drumming up interest for Japanese indie games localized into English and pushing for them on digital distribution storefronts like steam. Huge loss. Might be time for another playthrough of Recettear in his honour.

as of 7 years ago today, i took the first steps to becoming who i am and began HRT. it's one of the best decisions I ever made.

even if things seem rough, there's gonna be a light at the end of the tunnel. it's never too late to be happy.

is there a way to do throne-style direct gift raising for like. vgen commissions or something. throne itself requires that the thing be a physical item so it doesn't work, and with subs twitch takes a big cut
