''It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of light, it was the season of darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair''

On this day 2006, #BHAFC lose 3-0 to #BlackpoolFC at Withdean in League One, watched by 5,146. The result means we drop 2 places to 20th in the table. Campaigning for Falmer was at its height and the cover showed a picture from the latest march. seagullsprogrammes.co.uk/200607

Since the summer of 2022, Brighton have taken £273 million from Chelsea, 12 Premier League points and eliminated the Blues from the FA Cup

No wonder #BHAFC CEO Paul Barber described Chelsea as his best customer back in August 😂

Apart from a typo "Bloom does NOT undermine his staff in public.' hard to argue with much here.
After 4 games are we were we want to be? No, but there is a long way to go this season

Staff changes at other Premier League clubs resemble soap operas. Or in the case of Nottingham Forest and Nuno, a summer-long Greek tragedy

The swift and decisive way Brighton replaced David Weir with Jason Ayto is yet another sign of how well-run #BHAFC are, writes @warrenmorgan.bsky.social
Decisiveness replacing Weir with Ayto shows how well Brighton are
Brighton were decisive in replacing David Weir with Jason Ayto, unlike other clubs whose staff and player changes become soap operas

I’m old enough to remember when Conservative Party leaders believed in law and order.

Kemi Badenoch refusing to acknowledge that Tommy Robinson is "far-right", now on LBC, and refusing to condemn Elon Musk's words. In fact she says what Musk said *isn't* incitement. So what would be incitement then? How violent would his words have to be before he was deemed a threat to this country?

That is grim news for Jack and #OfficialBHAFC

If you wrap yourself in national flags and go on a fascist march with violent thugs… you shouldn’t be validated by our media.
It was a march for racism, for radicalised prejudice, for mass deportations and for threat against ethnic minorities. It was an ugly expression of division.
Shameful.
