Not comfortable with the celebrations in some replies, but the article is weird. Paints him as a working class hero and "character", rather than a man with a lifetime of violence.and hooliganism, who fell to his death while taking part in a festival of xenophobia. It normalises it. Dangerous.
"He was reputed to be the first person in the country to receive a football banning order when they were introduced, and spent several spells in prison in his younger days for football-related violence."

If the book is a collection of the Brexit benefit claims its author makes on X then it will mostly be a mix of falsity or garbled half-truth. But it's a big job to unpick them, so kudos to @bearlypolitics.co.uk for starting to undertake it.
Debunking Brexit Benefit 1: turns out “we got the same trade deals for free” is… not a thing.

Side note: I can already hear Brandolini somewhere laughing at me.

When “we kept what we already had” becomes a triumph, you know the bar has been dug into the earth’s crust.

Can we just stop and reflect on how fucking terrifying it is that “mainstream” conservatism is just straight up normalising anti-semitism and the Nazi holocaust now?

Six million people were murdered!

Synagogues still get attacked.

What the fuck is wrong with you people?
So we've gone from "he never said anything Nazi" to "well he might have said something Nazi but not in a hurtful way" to "well okay he probably did say something Nazi in a hurtful way, but didn't we all?"

Donald Trump is a Kremlin stooge who wants to sell out Ukraine and the rest of Europe to Putin. We can't let that happen.

Starmer should seize frozen Russian assets in this country - today - and convince Merz and Macron to do the same.

From The Telegraph "The White House is on high alert, alarmed by what it sees as a crackdown on free speech in the UK."

Interesting to see one the UK's papers so concerned by what Trump thinks.

Not sure shouting "Bernard Manning" like a closing time drunk will help much here.

Can’t remember budget ‘case studies’ ever being quite so funny. Especially in newspapers that recently anointed Liz Truss a fiscal genius.
Wow - this guy must be really, REALLY bad with money if an extra £208 per month will “ruin” his retirement.

Let’s take a look at his situation based on what he told the @Telegraph

Because this does NOT add up!

No, this is not a “poor pensioner” scrabbling around for pennies…
