We’re heartbroken to learn that Dr Jane Goodall has passed away, aged 91.

Dr Goodall was one of the true conservation giants of our time. Let’s honour her legacy by choosing to make a difference in the world - by protecting it.

Thank you, Jane, for everything you did for our planet. 💚

What was remarkable about the Sea Power sets at @krankenhausfest.bsky.social was the strength of the songs they could leave out: Remember Me, Oily Stage, Atom, Lights Out, Bohemian, Machineries, PSU, Zeus, St Louis, Lakeland... They could easily have done another Greatest Hits set. Incredible band

Just following anyone who has mentioned they were at Krankenhaus festival this weekend because these are very much my people

It seems to be a thing in #euro2025 for teams to use goal celebration time to hold impromptu team talks

Very few artists I would pay so much in advance to support, but @shearwaterband.bsky.social are one of them.

I understand it must be hard for people who grew up in the 60s and 70s to accept music being political.

97mins into the #EuroU21 final... England aren't going to have the audacity to beat Germany 4-2 after extra time are they? Currently 3-2

My interpretation of #glastonbury is that there's a line up of artists I'd be happy to see hidden among 10x more artists I don't want to see.
Like a life-size Where's Wally.

Our town's lovely little bookshop is under threat, which precisely no one is happy about. If you know of anyone in Beds or Bucks who could help please share.

Have you got a song you consider a banger by a band or artist you otherwise aren't interested in? It's 'Sit Down' by James for me

OK, your excitement about this may not be at my level (I'm almost gasping for air)... but there appears to be a new Half Man Half Biscuit album imminent (well, as imminent as they come these days).

More at halfmanhalfbiscuit.uk/new-half-man... as we get it. #HMHB

Excellent write-up of a sorry saga. I'd been wondering why it's taken so long to publish as the Peterborough game was weeks ago but I presume now that the writer's lawyers must've ordered several re-writes!

I went to Northampton Town because I wanted to see the club’s infamous East Stand before it is finished.

This is a wild story, one of a missing £10m, an ongoing police enquiry and the former owner’s wife having her home seized.

I think the Traitors should be made to do more. My improvement would be a spy, someone who can listen in on the turret. Their role is to protect the traitors, but the traitors need to root them out in order to win. I might be overcomplicating it but make them risk exposure more, somehow.

New year's resolutions:
1. 10,000 steps a day
2. Read at least 24 books
3. Go to at least 12 gigs (+ a festival).

Off we go then...
