Notice how in so many of the victories the Democrats had yesterday, they didn’t compromise on Trans folks and try to peddle to conservative voters by sacrificing Trans rights. It’s almost like being uncompromising in basic morals and principles is attractive to voters, who’d have thought!

Hope is a nice thing to have. But we still a lot of work to do, y’all. This is only the beginning. Big year ahead. Lots of voting to be done, progress to be made, and still so much fascism to be brought back into utter submission. This is what we can accomplish, but only when we put in the work.

Only times I’ve ever made serious progress in my life is when I’ve said fuck it and just gone for shit without thinking about it. Just thrown caution to the wind and hoped I’d land on my feet. There’s something to learn from that, I think.
