Except that’s not true.

Gill was the head of Reform UK in Wales only a few years ago - in 2021.

Gill was constantly seen by Farage’s side since his first election - as a UKIP MEP - in 2014.

Reform must come clean with their Russian connections.

Grateful for the warm welcome from the staff and students at Rivington and Blackrod School.
I was amazed to learn the school dates back to a charter from Elizabeth I. The choir stunned me with a brilliant performance of the school song in the beautiful school chapel, almost 125 years old!

Money launderers, fraudsters, tax dodgers and sanctions evaders have all used Britain's own Overseas Territories to hide and stash their dirty cash.

Our reputation as a clean and fair place to do business has been dragged through the mud. It is time to throw open the books.

The consultation on the proposal is still not finalised but I have heard from a number of constituents that family members have been already asked to make arrangements to leave.

Restoring the independence of our elections watchdog is vital to increasing trust in our politics.

Our democracy is beset by increasing misinformation, unprecedented foreign interference & dodgy donations - the time to act is now.

This shocking piece raises myriad questions.

How did Jersey & HMG note “no significant concerns” as recently as 2019?

Given the clear risks, did the FCO or FCA advise any mitigating measures Jersey might take? Were they acted on?

We urgently need more transparency in our Crown Dependencies 👇🏻

Good. We need to call this what it is - corruption.

Farage and his cronies are more interested in enriching themselves than our national security - they cannot be trusted.

🧵Good to meet Home Office Minister Lord Hanson earlier.

We discussed my work to ensure our law enforcement agencies are properly resourced to tackle financial crime.

Did you know, economic crime is estimated to cost the UK a staggering £350 billion a year?

I'm all for the Lords revising the work of the Commons and improving legislation before it receives Royal Assent.

But, 587 amendments from seven peers isn't scrutiny.

It's wrecking the clearly expressed will of the elected House of Commons.

Those peers responsible should be ashamed.

Former MPs who then go on to work for lobbying firms should be banned from holding a parliamentary pass.

I don't care whether they want a haircut or a "cuppa with old colleagues."

It's not as if I have a pass from any of my old workplaces still.

@spotlightcorruption.org right to call this out.

Dodging the rain in Hulton yesterday!

Another productive session on the doors speaking with constituents about the issues that matter to them.

Speeding along Hulton Lane, fly-tipping and road resurfacing - all topics of discussion which came up for me to action alongside Councillor Fazeela Khan.

I was hoping we’d have had the chance to vote on restoration this year.

Failing to do so will just pile on more cost and complexity for future work, which we all know is inevitable.

What’s required is a full decant. That’s the best way of saving money and protecting those who work in Parliament.

MPs were expected to vote by the end of 2025 on a way forward for fixing the crumbling parliament, but that now won't happen
