In my work, I meet people across all political beliefs. I’ve never met anyone who—when faced with the brutal reality of our benefits system—wasn’t horrified. There is no system handing out free money. What exists is a system that degrades, impoverishes and punishes those in need.

If these were genuinely in our best interests, they’d be welcomed, but what we have now is disruption from frequent emergency patch up repairs & the building of rabbit hutch apartment blocks benefiting overseas investors.
