please, sir, i am a scared victorian child. i'd like a tuppence of drafts so me mum doesn't die of dyptheria or typhoid or cholera or other diseases i'm too young to know how to pronounce. can you spare a farthing of drafts for a wretched young soul with baleful eyes?

I really do think Vrabel is the guy Maye needs as a coach, and I hope that thought gets backed up by proof next year.

I do enjoy a good pick six, but it not being Brady's team anymore did certainly temper the schadenfreude a good deal.

Even as sb who absolutely hated Brady, I really like what I've seen of Vrabel & I hope we see Maye and heck, the entire defensive line make it there again, or at least have a good playoff run.
Will I ever love the pats enough to root for them? Doubtful. Can i admire them? Sure!

Could I have been worse? Sure. Does it profoundly embarrass and kinda disgust me that even if that's not who I am now, that the person who did that will be in the nesting dolls of where I came from (even if just from HS to mid-college)? Yes.

I think Lindsay Ellis' video on it is a good analysis on how it's an imperfect masterpiece, but even if they didn't do the bridge from Holiday, it was still better than expected.

I do think Bad Bunny's show had more powerful symbolism, but Green Day also had less time. Still, they did well, & I feel like we discount American Idiot as an album bc we're so used to it.

I'm glad that most of my friends seem to know what they saw, even if the news outlets are afraid to say it.
the general media's reaction to both musical performances at the Super Bowl is an indictment of what is lost when every major outlet gets rid of all the culture writers who know what symbolism is
