This is the story tonight. Every Dem who was in that room should be telling us what they saw.
Himes: "What I saw in that room was one of the most troubling things I've seen in my time in public service ... any American who sees the video that I saw will see the US military attacking shipwrecked sailors."

The really stupid thing the DOJ was about to do was try to re-indict Letitia James. Today, the federal grand jury refused to re-indict. I love when a plan comes together.
Join us in an hour so I can tell you about the really stupid thing the Justice Department is about to do. @wajali.bsky.social

While it's still fairly difficult to prove a negative...

Releasing the Epstein files would show who isn't in them, by showing who *is* in them. Might not be entirely conclusive, but it *would* be extremely strong circumstantial evidence.

So is it going to be the affordability panic, the indiscriminate murder at sea, or the Epstein files that does it?

But they were so proud of what they were doing, Videos of boats and people being blown to smithereens all over the evening news?n

Anyone with any sense knew this was illegal and that was even before the furore over the double-tap incident

Randomly bombing defenceless people was never a good idea

I'm not going to sit here and pretend the United States has some long history of honorable combat or anything, but to have this kind of blatant murder on video while regime officials pretend it was justified is the definition of abhorrent

Rand Paul tells me that he wants the full video of the Venezuelan boat strike released.

“And I think if the public sees images of people clinging to boat debris and being blown up, I think that there is a chance that finally, the public will get interested enough in this to stop this.”

Spotify profits rose 28% in Q3. Its CEO is worth $9.8 billion. It's making money off ICE recruitment ads.

Don't you think it's time put a wrap on corporate greed and exploitation?

A corrupt president pardons a corrupt member of Congress for corrupt reasons. With multiple guilty pleas establishing a bribery-laundering scheme, Hakeem Jeffries still called the case “thin” and sought cover in a bribery-plagued Supreme Court.

A lesson in squandering potential inroads with voters.
