I've seen quite a few people complain that ZA looks bad / runs poorly / needed more time.
I gotta say, as someone who openly and enthusiastically calls out The Pokemon Company and GameFreak for lazy underperforming rushed games, I don't think ZA is nearly that bad. Maybe it's way worse on Switch 1?

Of all the characters they introduced in ZA, they had to take the person with the new mega of my favorite Pokemon('s final evolution) and give her an electroswing theme just to really hammer "SHE'S YOUR FAVORITE NOW" into my head.

Finished ZA, and with a (pre-dlc) look at how it compares to PLA, I started to wonder what the next Legends game might be. Given they aren't following the remake schedule with them, it could be anything. Probably not gen 4 or 6, but watch them make another Kalos game just to spite Johto fans.

As someone who grew up amidst a lot of toxic masculinity while not fitting a lot of traditional masculine roles, this sort of approach is something I wish was more widespread.
