It's just so obvious: if you try to counter a political opponent by co-opt their policies, you communicate to the electorate that those are the salient issues and if those are the salient issues, then of course the electorate will vote for the party claiming it has all the answers.

i watched stanz' deepdive with librarian on northernlion yesterday and it's insane how much memory space my brain reserves for egg knowledge. Over a decade watching him has altered my brain chemistry.
