Letterboxd just went down as I was saving a lengthy review, but I’m not gonna cry, because I’m a big boy now. Yes, I sure am.

Soul Asylum’s “While You Were Out” LP was released on this date in 1986. It’s nice that whoever runs the band’s social media is on top of this stuff, and they posted the photo below among several others.

Midwest folks: You should read this story about pesticide drift.
For @biographic.bsky.social, I reported from across rural Illinois on an environmental crisis unfolding in the Midwest: herbicides drifting off millions of acres of crop fields are slowly killing oaks and other native tree species. #longreads
The Scourge of Native Oaks is Blowing in the Wind
Scientists and conservationists in the U.S. Midwest are working to stop herbicides from industrial agriculture from drifting onto the region’s remaining hardwood trees

Benny staged a photo of what he said were 11 "rioters" who were arrested. Bovino tackled one of them for...nothing.

Only they weren't arrested. They were held all day, asked some Qs, then dropped off at a gas (petrol) station nearby.

These people don't show up on list of people arrested that day.

Oh. Here's the "beard" being ripped off someone's face.
I believe this is what ICE is calling "a beard being ripped from an officer’s face" by a Chicago protestor x.com/ICEgov/statu...

And here's how that shows up in Sara Ellis' 233-page opinion finding that CBP and ICE used force against peaceful protesters.

For those saying there will be no consequences for Bovino.

Maybe.

But DOJ has had to dismiss a slew of cases bc of this, and Bovino seems to now spend his time trolling on Xitter (he likes to call me "empty tire" when I note he's an adjudged liar).
Here's how Greg Bovino denies tackling Scott Blackburn, while watching a video showing him tacking Scott Blackburn.

This is the last of the "assaults" from September 27 that NDIL dismissed, a day where Greg Bovino was deliberately promising a "shitshow."

Basically they knocked over a 70-year old guy and then accused him of assault.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Gabriel Fuentes, in dismissing Midway Blitz-related charges against Dana Briggs last week, said he was lifting restrictions on relevant video.

Today he made the video available through the clerk's office at no cost to the public. Here's the first.
