There was a time when I had a business that required a lot of digital storage. We paid $20,000 (around $40k in today’s dollars) for a 5-foot-high stack of interconnected drives.
They had 54 gigs of storage! Less than half of the iPhone I got for free when I signed a 2-yr contract.

I've been using DuckDuckGo for a while now and it's so much better than Chrome, Edge, Safari, and the rest. I filter out AI images and turned off AI features in general.
DuckDuckGo now lets you filter out AI images in search results. Obviously not infallible or exhaustive but it’s a start.

I wonder if every day voters who tend to be 'conservative' and Republican are gonna finally figure out they've been conned for decades and that what they need is a healthy dose of social democracy.
