Responses by NYPD and NYPD Traffic in Manhattan have greatly improved (for non precinct related issues) in the past year.
I highly recommend more folks take a new pass at trying to re-assert parking regulations.

In September 2025 NYPD recorded a response of “summons issued “ to 24.7% of illegal parking reports in Manhattan (up from 13% a year ago and 11% two years ago).
