I disagree these are inherently untruthful professions. The problem is Dems often pretend to be something they’re not. When you watch a Democrat you’re usually keenly aware you’re watching someone perform a personality they think you’ll like better than their actual selves bsky.app/profile/redb...
I think it's telling that the most likely career paths are the Armed Forces, Private Law, and Business which are all profoundly untruthful career paths - being an earnest hard-working person who speaks plainly is simply not a common way to legislature.

i think that we should charge even people who have been pardoned, because there is no conceivable way the founders intended the pardon power to permit the executive to order people to commit crimes and then pardon them for them

Miller obviously fantasizes about himself as Goebbels, clearly practices speeches in the mirror where he gets to order the end of democracy and the roundup of minorities. He’s a warped bigot who is totally unfit to exist in society, much less run the government. Get rid of him, end the crisis.

The crisis isn’t refugees. It’s not that one person committed one tragic crime and killed one other person. The crisis isn’t that America’s 250-year old history of hosting immigrants turned out to be a mistake.

The crisis is that STEPHEN MILLER, a hateful little maggot, controls the government.

I think it’s important to be clear who made this argument, though, it wasn’t a tech bro, it was the lawyers. It’s the BigLaw lawyers who have absolutely no morals that wrote something like this.
"It is against the TOS to be talked into suicide by our LLM" is possibly the most evil tech bro thing I've ever read

Yet another government that ignored the obvious threat of Trump to its own (likely) demise
Seems clear now that as soon as it became plausible that Trump might run and win again, a main war aim of Ukraine should have been preventing that at any cost. Because the alternative was always losing US as an ally, and probably it becoming an active belligerent for Russia.

I mean, I guess we are going to find out if it is.
Again, every elected Democrat needs to put out a video stating exactly what Kelly and the others said. If ever there were a line to draw in the sand, it’s here. The military is not the president’s Praetorian Guard.
“Within the White House, Trump and his lieutenants aren’t planning on letting up…Trump has told some advisers that he wants RICO prosecutions and conspiracy charges leveled against the six Democrats, a source with direct knowledge of the matter tells Zeteo…

@davidgerard.co.uk I told ya. MST3K is SO not of the 1980s. Because they ended. In mid-1988.
Today in 1988 Mystery Science Theater 3000 premiered on KTMA in St. Paul Minnesota. #MST3K

Alongside a lot of gross stuff post 9/11 about Islam, this might be the single most sacrilegious thing I've ever seen in a major publication.
Over many interviews, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told Michael Scherer about how he plans to remake America’s public-health system. Can he lead the scientific establishment he’s spent much of his life crusading against?

Take a moment to contemplate how scummy this is: every single person that works at the Atlantic will get their child vaccinated, exactly on schedule, and yet they have no problem fluffing a degenerate monster who literally wants other people’s children dead of preventable disease.

DOGE was always a very thinly disguised con to dress up data theft and extraction class destruction of federal corporate oversight as innovative, and it's important to remember that part of the reason it worked so well is that the press helped legitimize it
hey don't be so hard on yourselves; it delivered oceans of sensitive government and citizen data to billionaires

Jared Kushner is another person who must be prosecuted and jailed if we want to have a functional democracy going forward.

And his money must be taken and used for pro-democracy purposes.
Pretty remarkable that Trump has installed someone on the Saudi dole — Jared Kushner collects millions in fees from the Saudis every year — in a key role for America's most sensitive and consequential foreign policy negotiations (Gaza, Ukraine), and it is largely TREATED AS A NON-STORY

DOGE did not fail in any way to accomplish its goals.

Its goals were never efficiency or saving money.

Its goals were to destroy as much of government as possible forever, and to steal data for the Space Nazi.

DOGE is fading away like bank robbery gangs fade away after the robberies are done.
