Reform were polling consistently in the low 30s a week or two ago. Now they're consistently in the mid/high 20s. I've been saying for a while that they peaked too soon.

The thing is, they only ever had one arrow in their quiver, and they've already fired it.

A timely reminder that if you all chip in a quid or so to make me the next online billionaire, I will invest heavily in getting Seasons 4 and 5 of Hannibal made, with all the original cast, and complete the intended arc.

Graham Linehan is a safeguarding risk to the general public.
It feels worth mentioning that Graham Linehan’s harassment literally continued in the courtroom, as he repeatedly misgendered Sophia, and referred to her as “Tarquin”, a fictional deadname he made up for her as part of his harassment campaign. The judge was complicit in this harassment happening.
I wonder if I spent all day, every day, for years, calling Graham Linehan - or the judge - a nonce and then, when I saw him in the street screamed it in his face and smashed his phone, would a judge find I had done no harassing?

And that's not even factoring in the age of his victim

Kind of interesting that RTE and the BBC both quickly edited their stories, the difference being that the beeb made their report considerably more transphobic while RTE toned it down, yet the beeb is the one accused of being "captured" by LGBT activists
Fair do's, they've deleted the glinner quote and dropped the weirdly constructed sentence
Hey @news.rte.ie what the fuck is up with this sentence?

"Judge Clarke said she did not find the complainant "was as alarmed or distressed" as THEY had portrayed themself to be after Linehan made a string of tweets about THEM." And then proceed to quote a glinner sentence which misgenders her?

Hammering the point home that since Power was revealed to be an avowed esoteric hitlerist that thought Black people were aliens, then going on at least three niche outlets of overt neo-Nazis, her prominence in mainstream British media has not notably waned. It is a big fun game for them, as well
Grimly telling comment (well, the little of it that makes sense). for so many of these edgy rwers this is all a big fun game. Which would be fine if it wasn’t in the service of people with actual commitments — to white nationalism, antisemitism, and the worst kind of reactionary politics

It is genuinely insane to see a judge describe Graham Linehan as a “generally credible witness” in a trial where he claimed Sophia Brooks has been engaged in “trans activism” since 2013 (when she would’ve been 6 years old), then, when challenged, claimed her drivers license lied about her age.

And these things are not equal—institutional neutrality should not under any circumstances include ‘neutrality’ on racism, genocide, anti-migrant hate, and anti-trans bigotry; and yet, even under the impossible ‘view from nowhere’ framework, the BBC is not remotely ‘neutral’ on any of these points

The BBC cannot both institutionally captured by pro-Palestine leftists and trans people and also institutionally captured by swivel-eyed right-wing cranks, I suppose we should look at its leadership, the BBC’s actions, and other endemic swivel-eyed crankery from top to bottom within the BBC
