they say you aren't supposed to drink cold water, like your body regulates it better when it's closer to your body temperature but I don't think that's the reason. i think it's cause if you do it enough you can actually freeze something solid in there i think subzero killed scorpion like that once

one thing i should have said in place of this too is that there are already community fridges and food banks, manna etc, that are worth pouring time, energy & money into instead of whatever some fuckin, glorified casino does for PR points
the one-week long kalshi/polymarket free grocery thing is a bandaid and if i had my way polymarket and all these prediction market types wouldnt exist and ALL of their funding would go into feeding the people year round, not some temporary investment strategy. but thats me
