The reason why we need to support the Trades in high school and post-secondary is because we don’t want a bunch of old racist white dudes choosing who to help.

Putting a lot of mileage on this one lately, and not just because of my disgust with our current administration. It’s an absolutely beautiful fuzz. 3 silicon transistors for a Tone Bender-ish vibe, or add in a 4th transistor with the 🖕🖕🖕button and engage the EQ for Big Muff territory.

DOGE recommended firing workers at:

-FDA, which oversees Neuralink

-FAA, which oversees SpaceX

-USAID, which probed Starlink

-CFPB, which oversees Tesla's financing arm and a potential payment platform on X.

"Conflict of interest" is a severe understatement.

Added my analysis to @danhayesmlb.bsky.social's story on the Twins signing Ty France.

Certainly not an exciting move, but delving deeper there is reason for a little optimism.

If nothing else, it seems pretty clear why the Twins think a bounce back is very possible: www.nytimes.com/athletic/612...

I play electric 99.9% of the time I play guitar, but there is nothing more gratifying than the first open-chord strum of an acoustic with brand new strings on it.

For anyone who hasn't listened yet: Cory Provus dropped a few juicy and yet-to-be-announced tidbits about the Twins' new broadcast plans.

Plus you can hear why I've been getting texts all day about how great Simeon Woods Richardson and Ryan Jeffers were.

People calling this a "Roman salute" are clowns. That's like saying hey, why are you giving me grief over these swastikas? I'm not a Nazi. I'm just super into Vedic north Indian culture. Gimme a break.

This is true.
In case you need suggestions - Foxing’s self-titled album is an excellent, melodic collection of scream songs.
A screaming song is good to know in case you need to scream.

This is so amazing perfect!

The wasp bit is a deep cut though and it helps to know that the fig is part of the fig wasps life cycle and female wasps lay there eggs in figs and then die (in the fig).
