I’ve started comparing AI’s “voice” to Kraft macaroni and cheese and talking about what the world looks like when every restaurant and every kitchen only produces Kraft Mac and cheese.

Yes!! I think when we talk about what is really a stake in holding onto your voice and using it, they begin to think about the assignments less as a means to a grade/degree/career and more about leaving their mark in this world, and being the only Voice that can truly tell tell their stories

I recently reported on an ICE officer who was publicly reprimanded and “relieved of his duties” after shoving a woman to the ground in an NYC immigration court. Well, he’s back.

DHS did not respond to a request for comment.
