Penrith Castle's history begins in the late 14th century, when it was built by Ralph Neville as a defensive stronghold against Scottish raids. It later became the residence of Richard Ill (then Duke of Gloucester) between 1471 and 1483, who transformed it into a luxurious home.

Dairy-free coffee cake with a twist- biscoff centre instead of more buttercream. Not too much so it doesn't overwhelm... not sure it's a great deal healthier but worth a shot.

Prince Andrew to be completely dismantled by 2026 so he's just a glass jar of spare buttons. Buckingham Palace have confirmed the jar will be kept in a cupboard at Sandringham and will only be taken out for special occasions such as Remembrance Day and fixing Camilla's favourite cardigan.

First time doing six on Saturday... hope you love these colours and fungi as much as I do!
A brown and white shelf type fungus growing on a fallen tree in woodland surrounded by ferns. A bulrush is seen popping its stem and head out of a dense wooded area of ferns/bracken with tall trees in the background. Looking up a tree that's covered in moss/lichen to the underside of a large fungus growing out like a plate. The still green canopy of the tree visible at the very top. More fungus growing on a silver birch, photo taken from the underside.

500 employers fined £10m for failing to pay the national minimum wage.

42,000 workers repaid more than £6m.

Roll of exploitation includes Holland & Barrett, Centrica, Adecco, Avis, Euro Garages, Genting Casinos, Go Outdoors, Mitchells & Butlers. Some have a history.
