Sitting here researching and looking up scholarships as my daughter will be a junior in HS, and in usual Virgo style I am preparing early.
What if though- as the richest country in the world- we educated our folks for free, since education is the foundation of a successful society? Radical, I know.

This chef I like did a cute announcement making two loaves of bread and said “two buns in the oven coming 2026”. People still didn’t understand she was having twins. A woman said the comments are the reason she will never forgive Bush for No Child Left Behind. I’m dead 🤣🤣🤣🤣

All these Mother’s Day posts saying how women make everything happen and keep everything moving forward yet we won’t elect one as President. Lol

Am I understanding this?
If the SAVE Act passes in the Senate, since my birth certificate has my maiden name, and a DL would not longer be adequate enough ID to vote, I would need to bring my passport along w my birth and marriage certificate to prove I am who I say I am? What in the third reich

Imagine wearing cheese on your head on a stage and giving up tons of money just to lose an election. Haha. This is your guy? Okay, then 😆

I need a new horror audiobook to escape the real-life horrors of this administration. Gladly taking suggestions. The scarier the better.

Read and made food today. Beef short ribs (never have had them before) and sourdough cinnamon rolls. An escape from the goings on.

It’s pompous to be first world and refusing vaccines that so many in third world would love to have. Privileged and stupid as hell
In 3 days, the number of measles cases in a highly unvaccinated area of Texas has doubled. There are now 48 cases, all of whom are unvaccinated, and 13 of whom have been hospitalized so far, for a hospitalization rate of 27%. This is huge figure in epidemiology. This outbreak will keep spreading.

Found a new reason to put in the work: I want to win some more awards just so I can get onstage and tell the world I’m a DEI author.

I have been doing a lot of homemade things. One part for health purposes, one part to disconnect from too much reality and being inundated w *gestures at everything* Sourdough is a labor of love, so rewarding but def a learning experience.
