It is just annoying because it also seems like they overwhelming glamp on to male author/creatives conceptions of these characters and nitpick to death female creators who are having a good time with the characters for fun or with a different scope. It is obnoxious.

I do understand that it says that and I think every case is different and about execution. I think the show is really well done, but I don’t understand why it is centered around a significant historical character when who that person is isn’t there

This might be an unpopular opinion, by My Lady Jane was a rough watch for-me because the historical inaccuracy was so wild—I just don’t understand why they based it on a figure that they stripped nearly every factual aspect of them? We can just have fictional kingdoms!
