TIL that Christopher Yeaw, a nuclear hawk previously hard at work for the AF nuclear enterprise, is now the lead for US State arms control. 😳 wow
BREAKING: Assistant Secretary of State for Arms Control and Nonproliferation Christopher Yeaw has revealed new seismic data that hinted the Chinese had conducted a nuclear test and taken steps to hide it from the outside world.

Writing is thinking.

It's not some marginal boring task you can skip. It's the heart of it.
It’s easy to think writing is mainly the transcription of ideas you already have—that is, until you try to write something worthwhile, and you find what you thought were saying transform into something far more interesting in the process. This skips that last step, and that is *not* an improvement.
“We plan to hire an AI rewrite specialist to ingest the reporting by Hannah and others and use AI to convert it into stories.”

The editor of the Cleveland Plain Dealer said it will use AI to ‘write’ its articles.

AG Bondi's response to whether or not a Jan 6th rioter who yelled "Kill 'em!" at Capitol Hill police now works for her.

The contempt by this administration for the law and basic human decency is nauseating.

I’m watching Castle on Hulu and I’m season 3, episode 16-17, our intrepid heroes are trying to prevent the detonation of a “colbalt-16” radiological dispersal device and I can’t believe how bad it is. “House of Dynamite” is a top documentary in comparison.

It’s hard to imagine today, but 50 years ago, at the height of the Cold War, the US and Russia (then the Soviet Union) jointly possessed 47,000 nuclear warheads — enough to exterminate all life on Earth many times over.

NO, NO HE WASN’T. Any Pittsburgh fan can clearly see that Rodgers hasn’t integrated into the team. He thinks he’s special and the team is letting him down. Let him go.
Reporter: "In your best-case scenario, do you want Aaron Rodgers back as your quarterback next year?"

Mike McCarthy: "Definitely. I mean, I don't see why you wouldn't ... I watched most of the Pittsburgh games on TV, and I thought he was a great asset for the team."
