We haven't forgotten Elon Musk waving a chainsaw around, you dicks. We're not unaware you've used our money to bail out the Argentinian psycho who handed him the saw, either.

Republicans like to call federal workers part of a deep state and government waste one minute, then honorable workers victimized by Democrats the next, while axing even more government workers out of revenge....
Democrats refuse to fold over shutdown as Republican outrage builds
Party sticks to its guns on healthcare and says it’s willing to hold out – much to the delight of its progressive supporters

Collective punishment is a war crime.

Forced displacement is ethnic cleansing.

Intentionally bombing safe zones is genocide.

And remaining silent on all of the above is complicity.

Thanks for coming to my TedTalk. Now Stop The Genocide.

They aren’t afraid of “ANTIFA.”

They’re afraid of accountability, of people who document what they do, and of a public that can still recognize fascism when it sees it.

A paper in Nature suggests a quarter of heatwave events from 2000-23 would have been near impossible without anthropogenic climate change. The paper also indicates that major carbon emitters are responsible for around 50% of the increase in intensity of these events. ⚒️ 🧪
Systematic attribution of heatwaves to the emissions of carbon majors - Nature
Climate change made 213 historical heatwaves reported over 2000–2023 more likely and more intense, to which each of the 180 carbon majors (fossil fuel and cement producers) substantially contributed.

His "higher purpose" sounds lower than his "lower purpose". No matter how bad we are, everyone else is worse? The myth of American exceptionalism has always been a cover for evil.

Maine is a special place, and our future depends on protecting it. I’ll fight for urgent climate action and defend the Clean Air and Clean Water Acts, because strengthening these laws is more important than ever.

They know they won't be in power forever. So, they're breaking as much as they can right now, in the hope that whoever follows them won't be able to put it all back together.

From Wells Fargo bank tellers to Google engineers, workers across the country are waking up to the same truth: CEOs & shareholders won’t protect them, but unions can.

Whether in a bank, law firm, or tech company, every worker deserves a voice in the workplace. www.washingtonpost.com/business/202...
The future of white-collar work may be unionized
Law firms, banks and tech companies are seeing an uptick in employees choosing to join unions.

She's shown she's willing to be a sycophant to a wannabe dictator, so I don't think she's the defender of democracy the Nobel Prize committee makes her out to be. They gave it to Aung San Suu Kyi in 2018 and she went on to commit genocide against the Rohingya.

The prosecution of Tish James is the product of a broken system that allows lawless billionaires to rule alongside corrupt politicians.

It’s as much a story of New York City as Washington, D.C.

But it's here in New York where a new era of politics will be born.

We built the transcontinental railroad 156 years ago. What in the world are we waiting for?

Our nation's federal employees are more than just numbers on a spreadsheet.

They make sure we have clean water.

They protect us from financial fraud.

They provide healthcare to our communities.

They make our government actually work for people.

Do not forget this.
