SSC's Mourning Cloak EX Slipstream program is temperamental, at best. With just under a 3% loss rate per use in combat situations, it is licensed only to qualified pilots and recommended to only be activated when the risk of tactical loss is great.

As a kid I would get genuinely very upset that I couldn’t be Hermione Granger / A student at Hogwarts.

As I have aged my upset is more reality-based but no less painful - it’s not fair I’ll never get to be a comedian and invited to be on Taskmaster and come in a respectable third place.

Today I have taken some sick leave for stress at work.

I obviously needed to take it sooner, but that's hard to do.

So I'm painting some unpainted minis.

Unpainted (but primed) minis:
Some burrows and badgers minis some Warhammer sprues and a red dragon mini laid out on a wooden table with protective mats.

Finished red dragon, dry brushed red with horn highlights atop a golden horde.

Remember all of the ghouls who denied this was happening and did everything they could to make the problem worse from JK Rowling to Wes Streeting. The NHS who did a stitch up report to hide the growing number of suicides from trans youth on the waitlists. They should never be forgiven.

I'm really interested in campaigns that instill proactive PCs not being pulled through a series of events (nothing wrong with those of course).
I want the players to make a plan and follow it through.

I'm writing a LANCER campaign and it will have two narratives which can be played.
If I were to have this printed, I would have it so you flip the book over to read the other campaign path.
They should meet in the middle for the same ending (possibly)

I painted this warrior woman with my non-dominant hand when I had to turn down a fun art job shortly after arm surgery; I needed to prove that I could still paint, albeit way, way slower at that time, and I'm still so proud of her!

A woman in late middle age, sitting in anglosaxon / medieval clothing and partial armor, with a golden helmet at her feet, at the base of a big tree. She is a heavier built white woman with dark greying hair in a long braid with red ribbon.

#Lancer No Room for a Wallflower - Mission 2 Combat 3 - REGRET

This is an end of Mission fight with two NPCs who each have two turns per round.

It was the closest I think we've had to an EVA style Angel fight.

This is a punishment fight and my players were phenomenal.

1 remainer PC mech glowing due to heat stress.

Went into a Warhammer store.
Wasn't suddenly accosted by staff.
Had a lovely conversation about GW army aesthetics. They then left me alone. And so I bought a mini that looked like a fun paint. Project.
