I was just at a meeting of security types this evening where people who know the lie of the security landscape spoke of "Jewish Police" in dark gear and heavy weaponry here in Melbourne.
When challenged for details one guy assured me they had authority.

This country is not those two. They were radicalised extremists. That’s the point. Extremism is by its nature rare. It does not grow from a failure of moral consensus. It seeks to shock the consensus that exists. Those suggesting otherwise for their own advantage betray the memory of this tragedy.
