I thought I was broadly in favour of a social media ban for under 16’s when launched in Oz in Jan. Now it is gaining traction in UK I am questioning how it sits with 16 year olds being able to vote in General Election in 2029 when we are saying they have the maturity to make a decision on government

Because of Brexit the UK is pretty much on its own & Starmer’s hesitance demonstrates this. France & Germany can talk tougher as they are part of a trading bloc that does rival the US. Our much prized sovereignty amounts to pretty much nothing with what the world is facing from Trump right now

Am reading that the Assisted Dying Bill is likely to fail & be talked out of the Lords. This is really disappointing as it also seems that the Labour hierarchy won’t actually care? If this is so then for me this is the final straw with Starmer & this govt. We deserved so much more
