Weirdly, I feel the same way about Shattered Glass: I loved the concept with it was a niche (if obvious) fan idea with a handful of repaints. Now that it has comics and official releases, I'm a bit bored with it all.

Thing I just learned. “Lede” as in “bury the lede” is a deliberate misspelling of “lead”. It’s part of a lexicon of misspellings used for annotations by journalists and subs so that notes on copy are removed, rather than included in the body of the text by accident. Others include “dek” and “hed”.

Worth repeating but AEW aren’t responsible for the ice ads, direct your ire towards WBD. I think some of the shots tonight (as well as brody/hanger etc) have shown where AEW themselves stand on it even if they can’t outright say it as a company 🤼

Of course, as more gaming moves online, I think the fetishization of dice is actually going to get worse, because that's the easiest part of the gaming experience to digitise.

Weirdly, I'm moderate on this. I think the aesthetics of dice are important to game design, but not over any other elements of game design (like character sheets and book layout). Dice get too much emphasis, but I think there's more to it than just "math rocks make number."
