Once had a conversation with a photographer who explained that a portrait wasn't supposed to offer dermatological documentation. He would gently blur photos (keeping the eyes and mouth crisp) to present people in the best light.

most people who get involved with animal rescue do it because they care about easing suffering, but the unfortunate part about getting involved is that you see MORE suffering as a result. basically what i’m saying is this week was garbage and i am self-medicating with horse portions of kraft mac.

with all this authoritarianism going on, you should probably know that the phrase is "toe the party line," not "tow the party line". (this will not save you from the thought police but it will save you from the grammar police!)
