Okay, major correction to myself. This isn’t a Cockrum drawn page, this is from John Byrne’s X-men Elsewhen issue 1. I finished the linework last night, pulled the pencils out from behind and did some touching up. This page was a lot of fun to do! #X-men #comicbookart #comicbookartist #marvelcomics

So I’ve started to add arms into my anatomy practice. The faces definitely have some expressions in them I need to work on, and I can still get more detailed on arms to really bulk out characters in a cape story, but we’re moving in the direction I want to. It’s a search for mastery, and I would also like to say I did these faces with no reference, which is a big no no to getting g them right, especially in the beginning. Onwards and upwards punks and comic nerds!
