The first issue of my book BATMAN/GREEN ARROW/THE QUESTION: ARCADIA is one of the picks from @13thd.bsky.social this week.
Thinking this morning of my 12th grade English teacher who had us read The Stranger, Crime & Punishment, and Heart of Darkness back-to-back-to-back.
Starting to think that teacher had a less-than-rosy view of humanity.

I went to school for engineering but imagined that job like it’s depicted in Iron Man comics and film: a genius alone in his workshop creating wonders.
Engineering is not like that, but writing is.
(It’s not a perfect analogy because comics are collaborative, but I do my part alone in a workshop)

In a post-We’re Taking Everyone Down With Us world, Lost Fantasy is the best book Image is publishing.
I actually think it’s cool and part-and-parcel with Spider-Man’s ethos and mythology. No Way Home was basically an entire movie of this.
Seriously, what Spider-Man villain HASN'T had a face turn?

The thing about Spider-villains judging Black Cat for doing good-guy stuff is too many of them have had face turns over the years. Take Sandman, for example. He used to work for Silver Sable in the Wild Pack and has even been a reserve member of the Avengers. Doctor Octopus famously tried being a good guy when he was piloting Spider-Man's body for about a year and change.

I don't actually think anyone knows that I really like Green Arrow, and GREEN ARROW #31, the final issue by @christophcondon.bsky.social, Montos et al, is a perfect example why. A really wonderful way to end a series, which I recommend you get your orders in for before 11/24.
