Clothes shopping always pissed me off because sizes felt so limiting, even the biggest sizes couldn't handle my bodacious shoulders and hips.

It's not perfect by any means, but Etsy was always my go-to for tailors that actually do stuff for swagged up thicc icons like us.

I see pieces like this a lot, often w/ a spin of lamenting cultural degeneration, but reading is a LABOR issue, it’s declined because so many people are working overtime or two jobs & employers expect after hours work. France has Earth’s highest reading rate b/c long lunch breaks & labor protections

Sometimes it can be worth remembering that for our generation, the life expectancy is probably going to be an avg. of 120 or something, so basically we're through the first act of four, & like half of that was spent figuring out how to live in the first place.

Still 90 years to get there & enjoy!
