We simply want to protect the way we've been working for over 3.5 years. The 4dww has proven benefits, such as increased productivity and improved employee satisfaction. It's part of what makes Kickstarter a special, innovative place to work.
Fair pay for our lowest-paid workers.
We're fighting for livable minimum salaries for roles that are undervalued by the market but crucial to keeping Kickstarter running. We believe none of our workers should struggle to make ends meet.

Yes! I think it's very worth playing things for humor sometimes. What bothers me has a lot to do with consistency of the genre shift and the inability to reconcile with the violence themes genuinely and without filtering it through this weird violence sieve that leaves only "correct" violence behind

Is it really a clout thing??? Imo it's not intrinsically a crime or anything to play in that space tbh, it's just not for me. Its also possible it's partially an oversaturation thing for me too-- and tbh it can come off like a weird downplaying/justifying violence sometimes.

I feel like a pure design shift is one thing and doesn't apply to this take, but consistent scenerio cute-ification of the spooky murdermen (including the current wave of yandere tbh) often feels either thoughtless or tryhard to me.

Imho it's more fun to lean full speed ahead into horror and angst.

I'm not gonna try to stop anybody from doing cutesy stuff/jokes of course, but there's an earnestness and honesty in playing things dead straight that I think is watered down or even eliminated by semi-permanently switching genres.

It’s really hard to describe to people who are not artists how survival mode does *not* inspire creativity, as the myth would have us believe. It suppresses creativity as you try to limit every possible risk – and the opportunities that come with them.

I have a lot of strong opinions aviyt the game jrself and atmosphere around it but I also don't want to dip into drama or shit stirring territory so it can be hard to know if there is ever an appropriate time, I guess. (Many such instances)

Yeah, a lot of playlists these days feel like people who only know 12 songs and only via meme contexts.

This pl in particular feels like someone who knows a bunch of old songs that are used in creepy contexts but doesn't know WHY they're used that way. If that makes sense.
