Seldom do I buy a quilting book, since I create so much of my own stuff, I'm just not interested in most pattern books, however this caught my eye and I had to buy it. Abstract interpretations of National Parks in gorgeous colors. Oh MY! The author/designer is Stephanie Forster. #quiltsky

I'm pleased to announce that my replacement eyeshadow came! Goodness it's sparkly. I haven't tried it yet, but I opened it to check it out. The eyeshadow appears to be solid in the container like it's supposed to be, so no slipping out of the container like the last one. #jonesroad

The 19 year old young man brought up that he has been having AURAS with his neurologist! (An aura is a feeling kiddo gets before a seizure.) He hadn't told either his dad or me about his auras!!

#quiltsky Krista Moser’s Crimson Christmas pattern. The light from the west side of the porch makes it look like the wrong side is showing on the bottom left, but it isn’t. Now to quilt it. This was hard for me. I struggled with the placement of the shapes but the instructions are excellent.

I'm taking half a sick day tomorrow and driving to a hospital 2 hours away with one of my twins. Kiddo has an appointment with his neurologist. He's been struggling with uncontrolled arm movements (that are not seizures.)

It isn’t acceptable that the top 1% owns more wealth than the bottom 93%, while a majority of Americans live paycheck to paycheck.
