We're counting down to the festive season & our current course The Wedding at Cana is the gift that keeps on giving!
The choir is learning Movement 7 this week & whether we're listening with the music or studying the detail with just the voice parts, there are yet more stunning moments 🎶

Finished watching Leonard and Hungry Paul this evening and it was such a beautifully told story of friendship, love, grief, family and quirkiness, told with warmth and humour (narrated by Julia Roberts no less!). Watch if you can: www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/epis...
Leonard and Hungry Paul

No Santa “Ho ho ho’s” for us just yet, but we are YO ho ho-ing our way into the week with a fun warm up! 🎶

Our Musical Director Ben, lives in Bristol... the home of the pirate voice (Blackbeard was from there you know!) & as Ben says, it’s amazing what the voice can do when you distract the brain

I hate this narrative that someone genuinely lovely could never win off their own bat. Richard is nice, he's funny, he's a real gentleman and he's genuine. He deserved to win and owes zero thanks to that horrid narcissist and her minions #bbuk #bbll

I'm sorry but how is it ok for Caroline to kiss Richard on the mouth without consent - someone she has insulted and bullied - and especially someone who has said they are asexual? Imagine the sexes were reversed. Just horrible. #bbuk #bbll

Can't bring myself to vote to save either of these vapid, self-absorbed, twerk-obssessed dullards, sorry. Can we have a "both" option? #bbuk #bbll

Grief is weird. Something as mundane as the smell of vegetable soup drifting into the street from someone's house can suddenly make you miss someone so intensely your heart aches.

Patrick Hawes beautiful music + stunning guide tracks and solos from Fieri Consort + unsurpassable teaching from @benenglandbem.bsky.social + the amazing community of @choiroftheearth.com + being the first choir to ever record the work = the recipe for a cracking choral course! Bring on Tuesday! 🎉🎶
Sound up for some truly beautiful music, as we count down to the Tuesday launch of our new course, The Wedding at Cana by Patrick Hawes.

One of the highlights is going to be learning its central movement, The Waters of Love. Patrick says it "reflects on the presence of the divine in human love".

So touched at the thought that our amazing Choir's voices from all around the world are filling this wonderful space in a museum dedicated to a charity that meant so much to Handel. Really quite special!
Hallelujah! It’s a privilege to be part of the Foundling Museum’s latest exhibition, A Grand Chorus: The Power of Music. It explores the life-affirming power of music through Handel’s ‘Hallelujah Chorus’. Ben headed there today & our voices can be heard throughout the museum. Very special indeed 🎶❤️
