Definitely reach out to your senators to block this atrocious bill but also if you have senators who you know will vote against it, make sure you reach out and thank them too. Remind them what they're fighting for @murray.senate.gov @cantwell.senate.gov

Personal finance advice I wish I could go back and tell myself: "savings are for people with extra money. Stop sacrificing things thinking you will save money because you won't. Spend what you can on what you want and be comfortable now instead"

Im part of one now entering year 3 (and we got SO close last year) of passing a bill that would allow an affirmative defense for DV victims who kill their partners in self defense.

I'm just returning from one of those #solotraveler group trips and while it was overall amazing, we did subconsciously organize ourselves into smaller overlapping factions while systematically ostracizing the more irritating members 🤷♀️
